The Worldwide Beach View: Gaining Outdoor insights from your Computer. Jun 30

This article will encompass several key ideas. Initially, I will explore what it means to discuss the beach from a worldwide or internet-based point of view. Then, I will explore how this interpretation contributes to popular interpretations of the beach.

To bring the beach to an online reader would be impossible. It is impossible to describe the feeling of the sand between your toes, or the smell of sea salt as your approach your shore. Moreover, relatively speaking, while all beaches are roughly the same, individually they are extremely unique.

Beaches by definition are where the land meets the sea. As a result, the land will not be hard terrain like in a forest, but consists of many grains of sand.  Because of the salt water, beaches usually have a sea-salt smell to them. Some find this odor pleasant, as it reminds them of the beach. Others find this scent repulsive and in turn may not enjoy going to the beach as much as others.

The beach is great place for social gatherings. Families enjoy going to the beach for a vacation, while young adults may see the beach as a phenomenal place for hanging back and having a good time.

Beaches are also known to hold some of the most exotic animal life. All sorts of crabs and fish live beneath the water, not to mention that amazing and colorful coral beneath the sea.

However, while I could give you description after description about the beach, there is nothing like going to the beach itself. That’s why it’s so much more important to go to the beach and see it for yourself rather than interpret it from these readings. There is nothing like one’s personal experience in terms of the beach. The sights, the sounds, the smells, are all ultimately indescribable. Nature is something to experience, not read about.

While I can give you the best description of the beach possible, at the end of the day you will have to determine your own opinions on the beach. Certainly there are those who love those 7-10 days they spend at the beach every year. At the same time, others value the forest or the desert or even the open plains of the Midwest. The key in nature is finding what you like and going for it, whether it’s the beach or not.

Invite the Sun in Paris Jun 09

As the mercury level rises up people eagerly want to invite the warmth and sunbathing is the best way to do for all the residents of Paris. Most of the beaches have just a minimal entry fee, which will for sure not destroy your bank accounts. In fact there are even open roof pools and terraces which offer the ultimate sunbathing pleasure.

The Paris Plages was introduced in 2002, on the banks of the Seine River which remains a hot spot for sunbathing. In fact, this beach is even known as the mother of all city beaches in Paris. The best part is; you gain a free entry!

Apart from this, Pailleron is also a sports center with two sunbathing areas which invite tourists for a good sunbathing session. Brittany coast is also a place that attracts people for sunbathing as well as swimming activities. Besides places such as Piscine d’Auteuil and Georges Hermant is also something that you should look forward for inviting the sun.

Also, now sunbathing topless in Paris would be tad difficult as the government is coming up with laws to ban it. Although, receiving critical accusations from many of the citizens the government doesn’t seem to relent.

Take care of the weather while you are on the beach Jun 02

You obviously look forward to spending time on the beach and soak in the sun. Whether you are playing sports, walking, or simply sunbathing, you need to protect your skin from damage. Every time you head to the beach you need to fill your beach bag with water resistant sunscreen lotion to protect your skin from ultra violet rays of the sun. Make sure you apply sunscreen lotion at least half an hour before you head out to the beach. After every swim, make sure you reapply some all over your body. Your pretty lips need protection loo, so use a good quality lip balm to keep your lips smooth.

On sunny days, make sure you wear a wide hat to protect your hair from damage. A few hair sprays do not contain chemicals and help safeguard your hair from the sea breeze and salt so carry one with you. Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated. If you desire a sun tan then soak in the sun before 11:30 am and after 3:00 pm. During these times the sun is not so harsh on your skin. A badly sunburnt body can be painful so make sure you use skin products like lavender oil to heal the burns.

The Paradise that is a Tropical Island May 18

What makes a tropical island so much different than a beach on the coast? Well, there are a lot of things that set the two apart. First of all, coastal beaches are connected to the mainland and they lose their tropical appeal once you travel inland just a few miles. One minute you are on the beach and the next minute you are driving through a bustling metropolis. When you are on a tropical island, even traveling into the city can still carry the essence of the island. In other words, even the cities are tropical.

A tropical island has a certain essence about itself. For instance, the water usually appears very blue. It also looks very clean. The entire island is filled with palm trees, lots of sand, and incredible resorts. The resorts themselves continue carrying the tropical appeal. You don’t feel like you’ve left the island the moment you walk through the resort doors.

Activities

The activities that are offered by tropical island beaches are many. Families, couples, groups, and individuals can enjoy a number of activities that range from simply sunbathing to going parasailing or going fishing. You may also want to enjoy some shows that may occur, such as concerts. Nature activities such as hiking are also common because many tropical islands have the deep forests that exist upon them. Many times, the beach, the resorts, and the small communities that surround the resorts are part of a bigger picture. In the middle of the island is a tropical forest full of wildlife, trees you will not find many places around the world, and natural springs that sustain life within the island.

Some islands offer bicycling, the opportunity to lounge on a remote beach, and surf lessons. For volcanic islands, there are hiking tours of volcanoes. You can look down into the mouth of volcano to see what it is like. There are lava fields, such as those on the Hawaiian Islands, and so much more.

Food

You will need to try the cuisine on the tropical island that you have decided to visit. You will have the opportunity to try foods that you have never eaten before. Some of the foods revolve around seafood since the island is surrounded by ocean. Any island environment tends to benefit economically from the many fisheries bringing in fish that are unique to the area and, although fish of one kind may be served around the world, it may be prepared differently.

Add food to the exceptional scenery and all of the activities that you can do and you have a tropical island paradise that you will never want to leave.

The most luxury swimming pool of the world May 12

Among the world’s most luxurious and most expensive swimming pool is the twenty acre pool located at the San Alfonso Del Mar resort in Chile. The pool is the size of three football fields and has entered the Guinness World Record books as the largest swimming in the world. A computer-controlled suction and filtration system keeps the ocean water that is drawn in at one end clean and clear. The water is pumped out at the other end. The crystal clear water offers you the chance to see the bottom even at the pool’s deepest end. You can relax in the water that is kept at a constant 78 F. While the pool cost $2 billion to build it requires $4 million a year for maintenance.

The San Alfonso Del Mar in Algarrobo is also the world’s largest swimming pool. The city is a great summer destination and a splash in the clear blue waters is what every tourist looks forward to. The 1,000 meter long swimming pool stands out on the travel map with tourists from all over the world flocking to the area. Even at the deepest end at 115 feet you can still manage to get a glimpse of the bottom since the waters are crystal clear at all times.

While swimmers can have a great time at the pool at San Alfonso del Mar, people are also allowed to navigate small boats in the pool, which makes it one of the most favorable places to enjoy a relaxing time. The pool took five years to build but is well worth the effort.  The pool is also among the healthiest with the least amount of toxins than normal pools. The water is purified through a Pulse Oxidation process designed by the pool’s constructor. The unique pyramid-like structures that makes up the residential complex provides an excellent view of the ocean and the swimming pool. At any time, you can see colorful sailboats along the crystal blue waters over the entire stretch.

If you have never tried kayaking on a pool then you need to experience it at the San Alfonso Del Mar. You can transfer from one corner of the pool to another in a kayak or small boat. If you want to walk the entire length of the pool, it could take you more than an hour. If you are looking for comfort and world-class facilities, then the San Alfonso del Mar is the place to be.

Always Watch for Water Conditions At the Beach May 07

A good thing to do when heading out to the beach is to take a good look at the water conditions in one’s area. The water conditions are especially important in that they can be very dangerous at some times. There are many things to see with regards to the waters at the beach that one is going to.

A good thing to do is to take a look at the water temperature for the day. The water temperature should be somewhere between sixty and eighty degrees Fahrenheit. These are safe temperatures for swimming or enjoying the water.

In addition to this it will help to take a look at the high and low tides for the day. These conditions refer to when the water is going to be at its highest and lowest points of the day respectively. This is a good thing to do when planning a day at a beach because sometimes the area that one pitches a spot on the shore at could end up being underwater in just a matter of hours.

The next tip to use is to take a look at the waves that are coming about. In some cases rip currents, which are waves that can drag a person out into the water, can occur in severe cases. These currents can be very dangerous. It will help to consult a lifeguard at the beach to see if any of these currents are present.

In fact it will help to take a look at the flag that is being used on the beach. A warning flag will be posted along the beach as a means of stating the conditions of the water. If the flag is green then the water will be safe to go into. When the flag is yellow the conditions will be a little rough and caution should be considered. If a red flag is out then people will be strongly encouraged to stay out of the water due to rough conditions.

Finally there is the concern of water pests. These include such things as alewives that can float to the shore or jellyfish that can come out close to the beach. These creatures can be incredibly bothersome and should be reported if one sees them in an area. It will be best to avoid panicking in the event that a person does see any of these creatures when out at the beach.

Best Sun Bathing Places Apr 28

Sun bathing is the act of exposing your skin to the sun’s ultra violet radiation to darken your color and skin tone. The easiest and cheapest way to do this is by lying down in a beach for some hours. Studies show that many men and women consider a tanned body type to be healthier than a pale body tone. Anything in excess can be harmful and this applies even to tanning. Wrinkles blistered and burnt skin and sometimes in extreme cases even worse conditions arise. The trend of getting tanned by skin bathing has become popular greatly over the last few decades.

The search for the perfect beach to enjoy nice long sun baths can be slightly excruciating. The climate should be ideal and pleasant and not too hot so that you do not get affected badly. Many places in the Caribbean islands offer exotic beaches which are not too crowded and suit the sun bathing needs perfectly. The Orient Beach in St. Martin which is a Dutch Caribbean area is frequented by tourists for the restriction less sun bathing and surfing avenues it offers. French West Indies and Dutch islands are more open to laid back sun bathing when compared to islands which were previously Great Britain colonies as these are comparatively more culturally conservative. St. Barths, Martinique, St. Martin and Guadeloupe are very famous for their wide sun bathing options and other comforts offered by high class resorts. Point Tarare in Guadeloupe is distant from the main tourist spot and hence provides the perfect secluded atmosphere for sun bathing.

The Danube River and beaches of Hungary are also ideal fro sun bathing and similar entertainments. Hungary especially is famous for the thermal bath facilities available in the man made beach complexes. Most of Budapest’s beaches are found near Lake Balaton which is the largest lake in Central Europe. The biggest island of Greece called Crete has some of the best beaches of the world with vast stretches of land for sun bathing activities. The beaches here are tropical and lagoon like with sand which is pinkish in color making your sun bathing experience more picturesque than ever. There are many high quality resorts in beautiful towns in the vicinity of the beaches. People generally want to sun bathe in beaches which are not mobbing with crowd always. With just a little research you ca find the perfect beach to sun bathe and get tanned.

Choose the perfect sunbathing spot Apr 25

Sunbathing can be the perfect relaxment if you do it right, but if you choose the wrong place, get ready to the most horrible experience of your life. Check out this guide and learn about the sunbathing as it should be.

1)      Before getting to the place, always remember to put sunglasses and sunscreen.

2)      Where is it located? Is it on the beach? By the pool? On your roof?
All those places have incredible importance since the sun is extremely powerful if there is no water or something similar to capture the rays, so staying near the swimming pool or on the beach is the best choice.

3)      How much sun are you exposed to? Being exposed to 360 angles of sun is bad; you should be exposed only to 180 angles of the sun, and using suntan lotion.

4)      How do you sit? The best way of sunbathing, is lying on a towel on the floor or sand, and lying on your back is preferred.

5)      And now for the macro scale – in which continent is tanning better?
Europe is the answer. As the costal temperature is about 15 Celsius, the sun is not so harmful and is prolly the best choice.
Antalya, and Turkey in general is good too, as it`s  not so hot.
Middle East, especially Israel is one of the best choices too,  as it offers full sand, nice water and is just in the middle of the best weather possible, for sunbathing.

6)      Want to sunbath all day long? Not possible in most countries, but Thailand seems to make this wish possible, as its weather allows it. It has frequent rains, but good weather for sunbathing.

7)      Beach or pool? Absolutely beach, the poolside is much harder for getting a tan, and the beach allows the maximal comfort that is needed, besides that, the water there is slightly colder and any experienced sunbather knows that dipping in the water after sunbathing is required.

8)      Natural only – anywhere you go, do not forget to do sunbath naturally. Besides suntan lotion, put nothing on you, as somne of the other tanning products can damage your skin badly.

9)      Outside? Only in the allowed hours, and that means NO SUNBATHING from 10 am to 15 pm. So you’ll get the perfect tan and don’t get burn.

One can appreciate the will for being popular and trying to tan to be “cool”, but, if you won’t do it right, you’ll end up burned, hurt, and with high-risk for cancer. Following the safety tips and tanning in the right places makes the difference between burned and tanned.
