Sun Bathing Spots in Los Angeles May 25

Los Angeles is a great city that is surrounded by beaches. Zuma Beach in Malibu is one of the best sun bathing spots in Los Angeles with a beautiful view of the ocean, mild temperatures, and sunlight that is ideal for sun worshippers. Zuma Beach is also famous for its long and wide stretches of sand and is excellent for surfing. Zuma also has one of the cleanest waters in Los Angeles County.

Another small but famous beach is Malibu’s Paradise Cove Beach. This beautiful spot has been the location for several television programs and movies including Baywatch. Apart from sun bathing, you can catch up with some good food at Paradise Cove. One beach that is really crowded in summer is Santa Monica Beach. If you are looking for lots of amusement then this is the place to be with Pacific Park, an amusement park in the area.

For a romantic getaway, there is no beach like El Matador Beach. Take a romantic stroll along the clear waters and explore the sea caves. Off season, you will have plenty of room to stroll alone with your partner. You ought to head to Redondo Beach for a weekend getaway or Manhattan Beach if you want to see the best in beach volleyball.

Child Friendly Beaches in the United States May 19

When taking the kids for a beach vacation, you have to make sure the beaches you take them to are child friendly beaches. In other words, you are not going to be taking your child to a nude beach or a beach that is known for very heavy partying. Party beaches are those with a lot of college students drinking non-stop.

Both the East and West coasts of the United States are consumed with beaches. For instance, on the East Coast you have beaches as far north as Maine. Orchard Beach serves as an especially nice family getaway in a region that is cooler than beaches you’ll find further south.

Here is a list of other child friendly beaches that you can consider for your next family vacation:

  • Coast Guard Beach – This beach is found on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. Hiking, swimming, building sandcastles, shops, restaurants, and great places to eat make this a beach that has received rave reviews.

  • Myrtle Beach – Myrtle Beach is South Carolina’s most famous beach. You have miles of beach with premium lodging. There are plenty of activities for children to enjoy. There are arcades, an amusement park, plenty of shopping, plenty of restaurants, put-put golf ranges, golf courses for golfing families, go-carts, Ripley’s Believe it or not (museum and aquarium), and so much more. This is a Spring Break beach, but not to the extent of Florida beaches such as Daytona Beach.

  • Daytona Beach – If you will be vacationing outside of spring break, Daytona Beach, Florida offers a lot to families. This 20 mile long beach offers premium lodging, arcade games, shows, rides, shops, movie theaters, and so much more.

  • The Outer Banks – The Outer Banks is proving to be one of the best getaways offered by North Carolina. There are sand dunes that the kids can enjoy, boardwalks, shops, and the beaches are not overly crowded.

  • Coronado Beach – This beach, located in San Diego, California is a great beach for kids. Fish can be seen jumping, the sand is ideal for sand castles,

  • Newport Beach – You can head to Newport, Oregon to experience a cooler climate and observe whales from a distance in a beach environment.

  • Dune State Park Beach – Located in Gary, Indiana, this is not an ocean beach, but a lake beach that offers a few miles of sandy beach for kids and their parents to enjoy swimming and sunning. When not on the beach, you can camp or go hiking.

So when looking for a great beach to take the kids, the above are great suggestions for you. There are, however, many beaches that you can take the kids based on the activities that you and them want to do.

The Paradise that is a Tropical Island May 18

What makes a tropical island so much different than a beach on the coast? Well, there are a lot of things that set the two apart. First of all, coastal beaches are connected to the mainland and they lose their tropical appeal once you travel inland just a few miles. One minute you are on the beach and the next minute you are driving through a bustling metropolis. When you are on a tropical island, even traveling into the city can still carry the essence of the island. In other words, even the cities are tropical.

A tropical island has a certain essence about itself. For instance, the water usually appears very blue. It also looks very clean. The entire island is filled with palm trees, lots of sand, and incredible resorts. The resorts themselves continue carrying the tropical appeal. You don’t feel like you’ve left the island the moment you walk through the resort doors.

Activities

The activities that are offered by tropical island beaches are many. Families, couples, groups, and individuals can enjoy a number of activities that range from simply sunbathing to going parasailing or going fishing. You may also want to enjoy some shows that may occur, such as concerts. Nature activities such as hiking are also common because many tropical islands have the deep forests that exist upon them. Many times, the beach, the resorts, and the small communities that surround the resorts are part of a bigger picture. In the middle of the island is a tropical forest full of wildlife, trees you will not find many places around the world, and natural springs that sustain life within the island.

Some islands offer bicycling, the opportunity to lounge on a remote beach, and surf lessons. For volcanic islands, there are hiking tours of volcanoes. You can look down into the mouth of volcano to see what it is like. There are lava fields, such as those on the Hawaiian Islands, and so much more.

Food

You will need to try the cuisine on the tropical island that you have decided to visit. You will have the opportunity to try foods that you have never eaten before. Some of the foods revolve around seafood since the island is surrounded by ocean. Any island environment tends to benefit economically from the many fisheries bringing in fish that are unique to the area and, although fish of one kind may be served around the world, it may be prepared differently.

Add food to the exceptional scenery and all of the activities that you can do and you have a tropical island paradise that you will never want to leave.

Luxurious pool of the world May 14

Swimming is one activity which re-energizes people. Apart from that, swimming pools are places which mean fun, relaxation and most of the coolest parties in the entire world are held at the pool side. A party at the pool side will definitely get you hooked. Other than that, pools offer you relaxation in which you can just let your hair down take a dip and lie at the pool bottom and rejuvenate yourself.

Below is a list of two luxurious pools in the world. It is always worth to get yourself in there whenever you have the time for that. Also, it is important to take a note that most of the pools that offer lavishness are private pools at clubs or at palaces. Other than that there are only a few outdoor public pools that offer the same sumptuousness to the swimmers and pool enthusiasts.

This is the world’s largest and plush swimming pool that is located in Seagaia resort (Japan). It can accommodate atleast 10,000 people at a time. Now that is a figure! A huge one!

To top the excitement and the rush it has been observed that a volcano of water erupts from the pool bed in every 15 minutes. The voice of the enjoyment of people reaches over 20 kilometers when the pool is open. One can easily guess what it would be with the roof closed. It has also been voted as one of the best pools so far. Many private members of the resort just visit time and over again to gain complete freedom from their everyday stressful life and apart from that, this pool offers you the best features ever.

Lavish outdoor swimming pool:

Now that’s something really huge! This is not a pool technically, it’s a salt water lagoon built by great engineers and is personally monitored by them. It is awarded with a Gunnies Book of World Record Award for being the largest swimming pool in the world.

A computerized suction and filtration system keeps the water in constant circulation and there is really lot many brains involved in successfully completing this work. This thing basically works on getting water from the ocean at one end and then propelling it out from the other end.

This defines luxury in true sense of the word. Also, people just love to sit at the end of the poolside and enjoy the lovely view it offers.
